How to Clean Stains from Upholstery

Combine the cleaning product in a bucket of water according to the manufacturer’s directions. (Tip: Use a hand-held egg beater or electric mixer to whip this up to a foam.) When there’s hardly any water left in the bottom of the bucket, the shampoo is prepared to apply. Fold a clean, white, absorbent towel, dip it and wring all the moisture out. Wipe the whole piece of fabric in overlapping strokes, either vertically or horizontally make sure to keep in one direction. Employ more foam into the towel as required. Permit the foam.
Remove the foam using a clean towel that has been moistened in clean water and dry. Rinse and wring the towel out as necessary. Dry the bit immediately by opening the windows and moving the air in the area with fans. Do not use anything or a hair drier that will apply heat to the region. The fabric needs to wash at the same rate.

General Tips for Cleaning Upholstery

With any of these methods, be certain to check an inconspicuous area first (like under a cushion, or on back side of the skirt) to make sure colors will not fade or bleed.
Be sure to avoid getting water or cleaning agents on the timber or metallic portions of your furniture, as this could rust, corrode, or cause discoloration.
