“Browning” can happen when natural fabrics get overly moist or dry too slowly. To counteract, use a neutral fast-drying upholstery shampoo. Gently vacuum the furniture. Then, combine the cleaning item in a bucket of water according to the manufacturer’s instructions. (Hint: Use a hand-held egg beater or electric mixer to whip it up to a foam.) When there’s hardly any water left in the bottom of the bucket, the pulp is ready to apply. Fold a clean, white, absorbent towel, then dip it and wring the moisture all out. Wipe the entire piece of fabric in overlapping strokes, either vertically or horizontally–just make sure that you stay in 1 direction. Apply more foam into the towel. Allow the foam to sit for at least five but no more than 10 minutes.
Remove the foam using a clean towel that’s been moistened in clean water and wrung dry. Rinse and wring the towel. Dry the piece immediately by opening the windows and moving the air in the room with fans. Do not use a hair dryer or anything that will apply warmth. The cloth, overall, wants to wash at the exact same rate.
